3. Presentations

a. Eureka 4th and 5th Streets Projects Update

Mark Mueller, Caltrans District 1 HM4 Safety Program Lead, will provide updates on the Eureka 4th and 5th streets projects that are scheduled to go to construction this summer. 

4. Discussion Items

a. Level of Traffic Stress Preliminary Results (encl)

HCAOG Staff and members of the GHD consultant team will present the Draft Bike and Pedestrian LTS preliminary scores for review and comments from the TAC.  

b. Humboldt County’s Roads/911 Emergency Response Measure O (encl)

County of Humboldt Public Works Director Tom Mattson will present and request input and suggestions from the TAC on road project selections and spending plan from the portion of Measure O sales tax revenue that is dedicated for county road improvements.

7. Action Items

a. 2025 2% Bicycle and Pedestrian Funding Requests (encl)

The TAC will discuss proposals received and consider making a recommendation to the   HCAOG Board to approve the 2025 Bicycle and Pedestrian 2% allocation requests. 

b. Transit Needs: Humboldt County’s Roads/911 Emergency Response Measure O (encl)

The TAC will forward a recommendation to the HCAOG Board for their consideration and approval to recommend that the transit portion of Measure O Tax funds be distributed to transit agencies that are eligible for the Transportation Development Act State Transit Assistance Funds and provide transit services to the general public.
